Sightseeing

@ Isle of WIGHT(in UK): It's about 3 hours(?) from London to Wight by trains and ships. This island is situated at south of UK. There are three ways of ships to go to this island. (Check it yourself) First, I went to Carisbrooke Castle situated at central of this island. After this, I went to Needles situated western area. I could breathe fresh air and enjoy natural landmark. You can feel what I felt only if you go there. Last one was Osborne House where queen Victoria had been loving. It was pretty nice for walking around. I could understand a little bit why she loved here. I want to go there again this summer.

*** 4.5, Beauty and refreshment ***

@ Stonehenge(in UK): It's situated near Salisbury where there is one of the highest Cathedral in Europe. One of mysterious things is who made this structure for what. I heard we could touch stones few years ago. But we can't now. So what we did is just watching from circular path. That's all what we could do. So it was pretty boring for me. I recommend to go there just once. You may not need to go there twice or more.

*** 2.0, Just stones ***

@ Wimbledon (in UK): Even if you aren't interesting in tennis, it still exciting to watch tennis here. If you want to get tickets of the Center court, I really recommend going there early in the morning and waiting on the queue. I went there to get a ticket at 4:20 AM. If you have a ticket for the Center court, No 1 court or No 2 court, you can see the other court(No 3 court to No 19 court). You may not be able to get semi-final tickets and final-tickets because these tickets are sold by reservation. You get there by District line at Southfields tube station (not Wimbledon tube station).

*** 4.0(if you get a ticket), Enjoy watching Tennis ***

Movies

@ TITANIC: Everybody may know or have heard about this movie, I think. I felt this one had pretty good atmosphere, and main character, Leonardo DiCaprio acted confidently. He is not only good-looking but also versatile and witty. That's why he can still work in Hollywood. As a whole, personally, I would say this movie have succeeded financially and substantially. But sometimes I insist that Lio must be more adult. Despite his potential talent, he is still slightly "thin". I hope he'll be like Robert DeNiro in different field. I don't forget Kathy Bates deepen the story.

*** 4.0, Magnificent and c still Lio ?? ***

@ SLIDING DOORS: I love this movie. The idea of this movie was very interesting. They didn't spend huge money but curiously, they seemed gracefully. Especially Gwyneth Paltrow (I got to like her) had so good humor and intelligence (also beauty). She made all scenes brightly, realistically and seriously in some scenes. Also a sub character (I forgot his name) made good connection in each stories. I want to check a director who made this movie from now. But ,slightly, still American and British basic ideas are fighting and make this movie quite busy like very short sex scene which is not necessary. Bad fusion. The last scene was good example, a happy ending from America and an unhappy one from Britain. This confusion might make this film good one or not. How you feel is what you get. Could be a new type of movie.

*** 4.5, Good sense of humor ***

@Six nights seven days: This movie will be one of minor ones of Harrison's ones in few decades. I completely don't know how he chose this movie. The story is a typical and mundane Hollywood movie, which talk about cheap and easy love in a tropic country. All scenes were able to expect even if I were a small child. Especially when they fell in love and they repaired his plane. And also two main characters, Harrison Ford who acted as a plane pilot and Anne Heche who acted as a tourist, and one fresh comedy character, David Schwimmer were not related well. I mean even if David wasn't in this movie, the story had been almost same because Harrison and Anne had to fall in love. I think the director just wanted to put in some humor in the story. It seemed somebody edited from two stories to recreate.

*** 1.0, Why? Dosh? Rubbish? ***

@City of angels: First of all, I love Meg Ryan. I just wanted to meet her in front of the silver screen. It was quite difficult to grasp what they wanted to express. The story was a little bit serious and heavy. The concept was pretty interesting for me, especially, I was pretty impressed by a "pear". Also I like an unexpected twist at the end. But still complicated for me to understand. What the director wanted to say? Everything wasn't combined as one story. I felt same thing when I saw "When a man loves a woman"(Meg was in this movie). I can't grasp the reason why he or she did in the situation? Of course, movies are not studying. So we don't need to catch everything. But everything was too separated. I was just glad to watch Meg on the silver screen. I really hope she will choose more well-made, real and thrilled stories for her.(personally) Also I didn't like he hair. Where is my ideal Meg like when she acted in "When Harry met Sally"?

*** Still 3.5(because of Meg), Pear and poor(?) ***

@The man in the iron mask: The twist at the middle had a strong impression on me. But, as a whole, it was boring. That's all what I felt. Especially, the actors who acted as Mousquetaires were horrible. This is just for some fans of Lio.

*** 2.0, Boring ***

@Red corner: It was pretty good. I could slightly understand the reason why Richard Gere chose this one. But I felt I missed something. I don't know what. And also what I was disappointed was the director might rush to make last scene. That's why it wasn't realistic enough. Somebody still try to find kind of enemys or vice. (?)

*** 2.5, Deepen slightly prejudiced China ***

@The wedding singer: It was what I wanted to watch. (exaggerated ?) Everything was superb, brilliant, witty, shrewd, c PERFECT. The story, all music, two main characters, atmosphere, and even supporting actors and actresses with witty humor. It was about very normal love in the countryside between a normal man and a normal woman. I hadn't realized Drew Barrymore was such a great actress. She always acted quite different way to express (you know). And also the new fresh actor (maybe), Adam Sandler was witty and smart. I'm really really sure he'll be much more famous as a great actor. I heartily recommend this movie to everybody. I was almost crying in the cinema. Even if you don't have a free time, you should watch it. It must be even one of your favorite movies. You can laugh and cry only if you watch it. I do want to suggest you "Don't miss it!!"

*** Almost 5.0, Witty humor, a well-made story, and a fuss ***

@Shakespeare in love: Gwyneth was just a normal lady. Maybe it was too heavy for her. She could be some good negotiator dancing with powerful guys but no talent at least in the film. Even I, who don't speak English very well as you read figured out the bad and no-controlled English, could get it. One more thing is a fat and old lady who got a prize of Academy Awards... Why ? How ? Smells very conspiracy and some hidden things. Even my mom can act better than her. We still need great British intelligent and mad actors and actresses who works very well in Hollywood. Pity but no Japanese... Sorry. Takeshi Kitano ? I don't think so.

*** 2.0, A sneaky puzzled casting and two guys who just love fucking all the time without dating ***

@The star wars: Phantom Menace: Unfortunately I'm not a crazy fan of this series. So I don't paint on my face. Just because I wasn't at the time. But I'm quite impressed more than I expected. I don't deny CG technology but don't accept it much. Human beings must act in the movie otherwise they're just made by computers. The last scene was almost exactly what I expected. I hope bit more twists please. Anyway I like car(?) chasing. I don't know hot to make it or drive it but... Not much to say. I'm looking forward to see next.

*** 3.0, CG and what else ? ***
