TExt Summarixation System

It is true that we need some facilities for summarizing huge amount of text transmitted through Internet or from Elecronic Library. We have been developing Text Summarization System TESS (TExt Summarization System) which produces a summary of the text.

There are several strategies for summarizing process. We have been examining those strategies thus we have developed several systems in these several years. Current system is designed by an idea from Controlled Linguistic Model (developed for Legal Phrases Processing). It recognizes function of each sentences then selects sentences to be removed or unremoved whose process produces the summary as a result.
